We are on the search nationwide for the Ultimate D.I.Y Cool School garden! A school garden that other schools can aspire too, and be inspired by.

Over the years, through competition entries and registrations, we witness many amazing school gardens that are evolving and growing each year.

Most importantly please make sure you get those cameras out and document your activities as you grow! As we have an amazing competition coming up on our competitions page that once your registered, you must enter! This competition is about doing it yourselves!!! From the ground up.. children being involved every step of the way... from a trellis, mosaics, bird baths, signage, garden seats, murals to compost bins, worm bins, green houses, container gardening and garden patches! How are you growing? Show and tell us in this awesome competition to be in to win awesome prizes!

Not only is Irene our world’s No.1 goal shooter, she is a teacher, so spending time with children in a school environment is second nature to her!

Growing your own food is fun for so many school children nationwide. Having your own patch provides a gourmet of educational DIY gardening activities for children.

Gardening provides satisfaction and achievement for kids and it’s also a way to get a great aerobic workout

What we love about kids gardening is that they are getting loads of the best kind of exercise and well should we say… they love it! Encouraging children to garden is one of the best ways of staying physically active and maintaining good health.
